Ensuring Chart's Success?

Chart Water is seeking an individual with advanced knowledge of water treatment process chemistry and ultra-pure water (UPW) processes which include, but are not limited to, multi-media filtration (MMF), ultra-filtration (UF), ion exchange (IX), reverse osmosis (RO), electro deionization (EDI) and demineralization. This role provides engineering and project support related to system design, proposals, project scoping, and execution of water treatment projects with a focus on critical manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will also have significant experience with identification and sizing of equipment used in water treatment applications, such as pumps, valves, piping, tanks and electrical components.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be?

Coordinate and prepare technical cost proposals .

Compile design submittals and O& M manuals

Monitor project progress and set deadlines

Provide technical sales support in preparing bids, design and project development

Your Education Should Be?

Bachelor's degree, preferable in business or engineering

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require?

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.Work performed outside of the office environment including customer job sites, offsite manufacturing facilities, etc. will have exposure to loud noise, construction zones with various environmental hazards, and additional requirement for PPE safety equipment use.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and listen to verbal instructions and correspondence. The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting of 50 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Duties include lengthy visual requirements on computer monitors.

Your Professional Experience Should Be?

Minimum of 4 years of project management experience

Will be expected to develop a working knowledge of packaged portable, industrial or groundwater treatment systems and processes.

Excellentoral and written communication skills for interfacing with customers, engineering, sales etc.

Practical experience with variety of water treatment system design and operation a plus

PMP or other related certifications, highly desirable.

International project management experience, a plus
