Project Manager - CM Services

Project Manager/CM is responsible for all activities from RFP/RFQ opportunity evaluation through and including completion of construction. Typical projects are suburban schools and municipal buildings. The Project Manager/CM works with other F.H. Paschen resources to prepare and submit proposals and follow through with project engineers and superintendents to deliver the projects.

Assigned Responsibilities:

• Evaluate RFP/RFQ opportunities
• Work with Marketing Department on developing construction management proposals for owners
• Work with department head to establish general conditions, general requirements, and fee for proposals
• Participate/lead interviews with owners and architects
• Work with preconstruction department on precon services, including budgeting and value engineering
• Develop detailed scopes of work by trade
• Advertise bids
• Participate in bid opening with owner and architects
• Work with Project Engineers and Superintendents to deliver the projects.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering and minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Experience in K-12 education, municipal, and suburban markets is preferred.
• Well versed in various procurement processes, including CM@Risk and design-bid build
• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
• Computer skills, knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, good communication and organizational skills are necessary.
