Job Description


LP Construction Consultants is currently partnered with a growing and up-and-coming architectural firm in Houston that is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join their team. This role will primarily focus on healthcare projects, offering the chance to take projects from concept to completion while playing an integral role in supporting a strong pipeline of work.

If you're feeling stagnant in your current role, lacking both progression and exciting new projects, this could be the ideal next step for you. You'll work closely with the managing principals and be well-positioned to grow into a more senior role as the firm continues to expand.

Manage and execute all stages of complex architectural projects including programming, design, presentation drawings, construction documents, specifications, construction administration, project management, and client contact through project closeout.

Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverable requirements

Provide interdisciplinary coordination with consultants, and coordinate with AHJs to ensure project code compliance.

Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types.

Work directly to maintain communication with the Team and Principals, and lead and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years of design and technical experience in an architectural office.

Bachelor's Degree and/or Masters' in Architecture

Professional Licence is preferred but not essential

Healthcare experience would be advantageous but not essential

Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite required.

Thorough knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.

Well-versed in building systems and able to lead production of construction documents.

Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, ability to achieve goals and deadlines.
