Luminary Group is proud to partner with a leading medical device business in the USA, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Technical Lead to join our team. As the Program Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the technical direction and successful delivery of complex medical device projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee the technical aspects of the program, and ensure the successful implementation of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for complex medical device programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand program requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of medical device solutions, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of program milestones and deliverables, managing dependencies and prioritizing tasks.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and drive their adoption within the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships and partnerships, ensuring successful integration and delivery of external solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges.
  • Provide regular program updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure program compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical program management or similar roles, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams in agile development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of software and hardware development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with medical device solutions and familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in project management frameworks and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Experience with vendor management and external solution integration is preferred.
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations and compliance requirements in the medical device industry is a plus.
