Program Director - Behavioral Services

Liberty Behavioral and Community Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead, manage, and oversee our behavioral health services . This is a leadership role that involves designing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral health programs for individuals and communities in need. The Program Director will ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continued program development. This position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals through behavioral health services. The ideal candidate should have great interpersonal communication skills, proven experience in leading, and familiar working with adults with autism and developmental disabilities.

• Program Management & Leadership:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the behavioral services programs, ensuring effective implementation of services that meet client needs.
• Supervise and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals, including Adaptive skills therapists, Conduct Specialist, and support staff.
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery and compliance with financial goals.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that supports staff development and engagement.
• Client Services & Case Management:
• Monitor the delivery of behavioral services to ensure clients are receiving appropriate interventions and support.
• Develop and implement individualized behavioral treatment plans and oversee their evaluation.
• Act as a liaison between clients, families, and other service providers to ensure coordination of care.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure that all services meet or exceed industry standards, state regulations, and organizational policies.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance practices to track program outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Stay informed of new developments and best practices in the behavioral health field and incorporate them into program planning and delivery.
• Training & Development:
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge of best practices in behavioral health.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure that the team stays current with relevant certifications, licensure, and training requirements.
• Community & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding agencies to support the growth and sustainability of behavioral services.
• Participate in community outreach and advocacy efforts to raise awareness of behavioral health issues and available services.

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong background in program development, management, and evaluation.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families in community or clinical settings.
• Skills:
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, clients, families, and external partners.
• In-depth knowledge of behavioral health practices, therapeutic interventions, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to analyze data, assess program effectiveness, and implement improvements.
• Knowledge of relevant software for case management, data tracking, and reporting.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet other pre-employment screening requirements.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the community as required.
