PPOSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for effectively supervising daily activities of subordinates while ensuring a safe working environment, all while diligently working towards meeting production deadlines. The role requires a proactive approach to managing team dynamics and workflows, emphasizing both productivity and safety in every task.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Coordinate the team's work efforts within the station to facilitate the efficient and timely completion of assigned installations, ensuring every team member understands their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Utilize a progressive discipline process, including steps up to written warnings, to maintain strict adherence to company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of accountability among all staff.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in the station with the utmost regard for quality standards, consistently striving for excellence in every aspect of the work performed.
  • Comply meticulously with established procedures regarding the handling of parts to ensure that each build meets high quality benchmarks, while also aiming to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with crucial support elements such as Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Quality Assurance to streamline processes and address any issues that may arise during installations.
  • Ensure that all station members receive proper training and, when feasible, cross-train the team to enhance versatility and effectiveness in accomplishing any and all installations conducted in the station.
  • Promptly report any unsafe work conditions or injuries to the appropriate personnel to prioritize the safety and well-being of all employees.
  • At the end of each shift, ensure that your workstation is clean and organized, with all tools properly marked, operational, and accounted for to maintain an efficient work environment.
  • Maintain thorough documentation by completing the necessary forms accurately and keeping track of labor associated with installations, ensuring accountability and transparency in the work conducted.
  • Make certain that the LiveBus is completed thoroughly and accurately prior to any line move, allowing for seamless transitions and operations.
  • Organize, plan, and execute all tasks within the workstation to ensure that the daily production line schedule is met consistently, promoting a commitment to on-time delivery.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on part shortages and report such shortages immediately to facilitate timely responses to avoid production delays.
  • Effectively communicate with team members regularly and conduct daily Toolbox meetings to foster collaboration, address concerns, and enhance team cohesion.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and supportively within a continuously changing environment, adapting to new challenges as they arise.
  • Be open to learning the Oracle system, utilizing it daily within the workstation to streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Able to communicate effectively via both written and verbal communication. This includes the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, as well as actively listen to others to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Possesses excellent blueprint reading skills and a comprehensive working knowledge of process sheets and work instructions. This expertise is crucial for accurately interpreting technical documents and ensuring that tasks are executed according to specifications.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of all online installations and commissioning requirements. Familiarity with these processes ensures smooth operation and integration of systems as part of project execution.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, with a specific emphasis on Microsoft Outlook. This is essential for effective communication, scheduling, and documentation management.
  • Exhibits an extremely quality-conscious mindset and is detail-oriented. An unwavering commitment to high standards and meticulous attention to detail are essential in all aspects of work, contributing to the overall success of projects and satisfaction of stakeholders.
