Global Life Science Hub has partnered with a one-of-a-kind, global CDMO that specializes in providing comprehensive development and manufacturing services. With an additional 50% growth expected in the Iowa site before the end of 2024, we're searching for an experienced Manufacturing Specialist who will be expected to spearhead their manufacturing operations.
This is a 100% on-site role with relocation assistance available. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Manager who would like to take a step up and oversee an entire manufacturing facility, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Role: Head of Manufacturing/Production
Location : Fort Dodge, Iowa, USA
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet business goals.
- Manage relationships with global suppliers, product management, and operations.
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to drive manufacturing improvements.
- Implement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Establish standards and guidelines for manufacturing and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Oversee production planning and inventory management.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management (preferably in a regulated industry).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing best practices and GMP regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
