Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 + years of Experience in Manufacturing / Production.
• Work Exposure to manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principals and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exposure to CNC machining.
• Qualification BE / B Tech.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Technically strong in Modern machine tools, Equipment and Automation of manufacturing processes and NC/Robo/Automation programming
• In depth knowledge and hands on experience of CNC machining processes, heat treatment, grinding, shot peening, welding and painting
• Knowledge of Mining products DTH Bits, DTH Hammers, Top Hammer Bits and Rotary bits is an added advantage
• New product development - should be able to Analyze Design for manufacturability and provide inputs to R & D
• Capacity planning, Make Vs buy decision making and Capex planning
• Knowledge in PLM Team centre/CAD&CAM UG NX, Master data management for ERP SAP S4/HANA - MBOM/BOP/MCN in TC/MDG/SAP
• Experience in implementation of LEAN manufacturing concepts with leading the VSM and CI structure
  

Role :

Responsible for Production Technology (Manufacturing engineering) activities in the given product group. This role involves planning and management of the manufacturing engineering team to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. Drives cross functional collaboration, continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety standards in the process and equipment's.
2. Implement and maintain best practices for safety and regulatory compliance. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
3. Demonstrate company leadership model and adhere to company core values in day-to-day activities.
4. Manage and develop a high-performing technology team to deliver the results.
5. Develop and implement manufacturing engineering strategies aligned with business objectives in given product group.
6. New product development in coordination with respective product line / R&D team and ensure to deliver in liaison with internal/external stake holders.
7. Responsible for Master data management for ERP SAP S4/HANA - MBOM/BOP/MCN in TC/MDG/SAP and standards for manufacturing for given product group
8. Responsible for PLM Team centre/CAD&CAM UG NX activities
9. Ensure manufacturing processes meets Productivity, Cost, Quality and Delivery targets.
10. Evaluate and mitigate risks and identify opportunities for improvement
11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles.
12. Optimize cost performance and minimize waste through effective resource management
13. Responsible for Capacity planning including make Vs Buy decisions for given product group.
14. Oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
15. Responsible for plant layout and re-lay outing possibilities for better flow.
16. Support for product quality assurance & control planning with robust manufacturing processes and systems
17. Supports in Suppliers and Vendors in establishing the process to meet the product specifications
18. Ensure constructive cross functional collaboration to deliver the organizational objectives
19. Drive the Digital transformation initiatives to prove the long-term vision of a modern lean-agile manufacturing setup.
20. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, ensure best practices
21. Responsible for compliance of Integrated Management systems - ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001specific to technology role.
22. Drive D&I initiatives and people development.
