Production Artist

The Production Artist plays a critical role in translating creative concepts into polished deliverables across multiple mediums. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in production-ready assets for packaging, digital marketing, and promotional materials, while adhering to brand guidelines and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare production-ready files for packaging, point-of-sale displays, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the design team to adapt concepts into various formats for print and digital platforms.
• Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all deliverables.
• Ensure all materials align with the company's visual identity and messaging.
• Proof artwork and designs for accuracy, ensuring correct file specifications for printers and vendors.
• Perform image retouching, color corrections, and layout adjustments as needed.
• Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Communicate technical specifications and troubleshoot issues related to file preparation or production.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Implement process improvements to streamline production workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in a production artist or similar role, preferably in the consumer goods or beverage industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of print production, color management, and digital design principles.
• Familiarity with prepress processes and file preparation for various printing techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with packaging design in the beverage area and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of beverage industry trends and consumer preferences.
• Basic understanding of motion graphics or web design is a plus.
