We are seeking a Product Line Value Stream Leader (PLVSL) to take charge of the Power Transmission Systems Value Stream and lead transformative efforts that deliver exceptional value to our clients. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with Customer Value Stream Leaders to ensure seamless support and alignment, playing a critical part in our mission to exceed customer expectations and uphold the organization's core values.

What You Will Do

Responsible for program execution, ensuring adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.

Identifies risks and opportunities, develops mitigations and recommendations to achieve customer satisfaction, cost, and performance goals.

Participates in and leads the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, commerciality justification, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization?s interests.

Supports annual strategic planning efforts for the business and prepares and presents value-stream strategy, progress, and results.

Drives the next generation technology projects to support all customers.

Ability to travel nationally/internationally as needed up to 10%.

What You Will Learn

Develop a strong understanding of program management by ensuring programs are executed according to plans, schedules, and budgets.

Learn to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities within projects, and you'll develop your ability to create mitigation strategies and recommendations to ensure that customer satisfaction, cost goals, and performance targets are met.

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ?

Qualifications We Prefer

Technical background, i.e. engineering, quality, etc.

Lean manufacturing/six sigma/ACE/CORE

Negotiation and change management experience.

Manufacturing life cycle, CMS processes

Interpreting aerospace and U.S. government requirements, specifications, and contracts.

SAP and MS Project

PMP Certification or equivalent

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate?s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
