Product Designer - Stealth Startup

Location: New York, Montreal, Toronto
Hours: 1020 hours per week
Rate: $80$100/hour, depending on experience

We're on a mission to reconnect people and make humans happier in an increasingly disconnected world. With guidance from Sonja Lyubomirsky (The How of Happiness) and a world-class leadership team, we're building something game-changingand we need a hands-on, creative Product Designer who can think like a Product Manager, move quickly, and bring clarity to messy problems. If you love jumping into early ideas, sketching flows, and iterating fast based on real user feedback, you'll be a great fit.

• Design Fast, Design Smart Sketch, prototype, and test user flows in Figma with speed and intention.
• Own the End-to-End UX Design intuitive, engaging experiences that drive meaningful connections.
• Shape Product Strategy Work alongside the CEO and CTO to shape product direction and define user needs.
• Prototype & Iterate Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to refine the product.
• Partner with Engineering Work closely with engineering to bring ideas to life, ensuring feasibility.
• Help Prioritize & Iterate Bring a PM mindset, identifying opportunities and trade-offs in design decisions.

• Creative Problem Solver You love the zero-to-one phase and turning vague ideas into clear flows.
• Experienced UI/UX Designer You've crafted digital experiences that users love.
• Figma Pro You can quickly design, iterate, and organize a clean, scalable design system.
• Startup-Minded Comfortable wearing multiple hats and making decisions with limited data.
• Product Thinker You intuitively understand user behavior and are excited to contribute beyond visuals.
• Bonus: Experience with social, video, or real-time communication apps.
