Private Client Attorney

Thompson Coburn is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our Private Client Group. This role involves advising high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and multi-generational families on complex estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and business succession planning.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in tax law and estate planning, with a focus on creating comprehensive, tax-efficient solutions tailored to client needs. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing estate documents, operating and shareholder agreements, and advising on insurance planning, trust funding, and corporate restructuring. This role also involves handling estate administration, including probate proceedings, post-mortem tax planning, and estate tax return preparation. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team, assisting clients in building enduring legacies through thoughtful and strategic planning.
