Principal Callidus Consultant, Data Integration

Position Summary

A Principal Data Integration Consultant will be assisting with the configuration and implementation of Sales Performance Management systems and other related software solutions to meet the client's business and technical requirements. In this role, you will work directly with our diverse client base with potential to work on multiple projects per year.

Responsibilities in this role also include providing data integration expertise and consulting throughout the software implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, build, testing and go-live. Principal Consultants will work with senior team members to capture and validate notes from client discovery and review sessions and performing configuration and development tasks. As a Principal member of the team, this role will be expected to mentor, coach, and monitor more junior members of the team.

Job Objectives

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Demonstrate strong understanding of complex configuration and data integration using SAP HANA and SAP Incentive Management
• Should have experience in Callidus data model, stage hooks and XDL customization
• Identify specific information needed to clarify situations or make decisions
• Assumes responsibility for the design and delivery of the overall technical solution and engages the OS Solution Architect as needed for reviews/technical issue support
• Develop design & requirements documentation
• Share expertise with colleague / team members
• Approach a complex task or problem by breaking it down into its component parts and consider each part in detail
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of practice specific concepts and best practices (such as SPM, incentive compensation, HCM, CPQ, etc.)
• Understand when and how to switch to a different strategy when an initially selected one is unsuccessful
• Monitor progress and put effort in where is most needed
• Assist with creation of project work plan including sequencing of tasks and estimating work effort

Requirements

• 6+ years with CallidusCloud / SAP Incentive Management system experience
• 6+ years of experience in a data integration role using SAP HANA
• 5+ years of client facing / stakeholder management experience
• Advanced skill-sets in Excel / Spreadsheet software
• Expert level communication skills including writing, listening and speaking
