President - Real Estate Project Development

We are seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking leader to head our real estate project development function. The President Real Estate Project Development will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecyclefrom land acquisition and design to construction and delivery. This leadership role demands deep industry knowledge, strategic oversight, and the ability to manage complex, large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and lead the strategic direction for project development across asset classes.
• Identify new development opportunities through detailed market and feasibility analysis.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Manage the full project lifecycle including concept planning, execution, and delivery.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies to manage project-related challenges.

Land Acquisition & Legal Coordination:

• Supervise the identification, due diligence, and acquisition of land parcels.
• Coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals and compliance with local laws.

Design & Development:

• Work closely with architects and design consultants to deliver innovative and efficient real estate solutions.
• Promote sustainability and cost efficiency through design and construction best practices.

Stakeholder Management:

• Cultivate strong working relationships with government agencies, joint venture partners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Represent the organization in high-level negotiations and public interactions.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in engineering, planning, finance, and sales.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Real Estate (preferred).
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in the real estate development sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-impact projects.
• Strong understanding of construction technology, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics in India.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience managing projects in Tier 1 cities, especially in South India.
• Knowledge of smart city initiatives, green building standards, and modern urban planning.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
