Porters

TA Travel Center is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Porters to join our team! In this role, you will be essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, organized, and safe for both customers and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the high standards that our company is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize public restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly.
• Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and meetings held at our facilities.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, alerting management when reordering is necessary.
• Support minor maintenance tasks and promptly report any significant issues to the maintenance team.
• Engage with guests and staff positively, providing assistance when needed to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles is an advantage, though not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Qualification

High School or equivalent
