About the Role:

Jefferson Wells is partnering with one of our top clients to identify an experienced

Plant Controller

to join a thriving manufacturing team in a state of the art facility! This is a high-visibility role with significant opportunities to drive strategic initiatives and impact key financial outcomes. You will lead a team of 5-7 providing oversight on financial operations and diving into detail as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and stock options, along with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial aspects of plant operations, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting and analysis.

Implement and improve ERP systems (SAP preferred) to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with the executive team to align financial strategies with operational goals.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance on complex issues.

Dive into transaction details when necessary, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and regulatory compliance.

Drive problem-solving initiatives, optimizing processes to support a growing operation.

Qualifications:

10+ years of relevant experience within a manufacturing setting, with solid expertise in cost accounting.

At least 5 years in a manufacturing plant environment - mandatory .

Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Proven leadership and team management experience.

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute at both tactical and strategic levels.

Master's Degree (MBA) highly preferred; CPA is a plus.
