Alexander Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team of orthopedic specialists. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care, from initial assessments to treatment and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and obtain detailed medical histories.
  • Assist in diagnostic procedures and develop treatment plans with the supervising physician.
  • Perform various clinical procedures, including joint injections and wound care, first assist in the OR.
  • Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions and treatment options.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans under the supervision of physicians.
  • Participate in patient rounds, case conferences, and team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active Florida state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Previous experience in orthopedic settings is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in surgical setting is preferred but no required.

Requirements

Must possess a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies and have a current Florida PA license or applying for Floirda license.
