Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Work in a Dynamic Orthopedic Outpatient Setting!

Job Summary:

Join an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Practice specializing in Orthopedics and Sports Rehabilitation in Deerfield Beach, FL. Work alongside skilled PTs, PTAs, and Rehab Techs to provide hands-on patient care, assist with rehabilitation exercises, and contribute to personalized treatment plans that help individuals regain mobility and strength.

Schedule:

• Choose from (4) 10-hour shifts or a Monday-Friday schedule (8 AM 4 PM or 9 AM 5 PM).
• No weekends required.

Compensation: $55K to $60K per year , based on experience.

Patient Volume: 1-11/2 patients an hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists with implementing treatment plans.
• Track patient progress and update records.
• Ensure therapy equipment is maintained and treatment areas are organized.
• Help with patient scheduling and intake.
• Conduct movement and mobility assessments.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in PTA from an accredited program.
• Active PTA license in Florida.
• Previous experience as a PTA is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT.
• Skilled in manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
