Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Join an Orthopedic Outpatient Team!

An orthopedic outpatient clinic in San Jose, California is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to help patients improve movement and recover from injuries. This role focuses on implementing treatment plans, guiding therapeutic exercises, and supporting hands-on therapy in a well-equipped clinical environment.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Compensation:

$75,000 $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

Guide patients through prescribed therapy exercises and monitor their progress.
Assist with hands-on therapy and the use of rehabilitation equipment.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and at-home exercises.
Maintain accurate patient records and adjust therapy plans as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree from an accredited PTA program.
Valid PTA license in California.
Two or more years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Proficiency with EMR systems like WebPT.
Strong background in manual therapy techniques.
