Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to collaborate with Physical Therapists in delivering high quality rehabilitation services. This role involves assisting with therapeutic exercises, applying modalities, and supporting patients' recovery in diverse clinical settings
located in Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Roswell, Truth or Consequences, Santa Clara, and Los Lunas, New Mexico .

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in therapeutic exercises, modalities (e.g., heat, electrical stimulation), and assistive devices.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication, empathy, and adaptability.
• Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities.
• Apply modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation) to aid recovery.
• Educate patients on proper use of assistive devices and home exercise techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and ensure compliance with protocols.
