Location: Various locations across Louisiana (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Thibodaux, Hammond, Monroe, Bossier City)
Employment Type: Per Diem (Emergency Staffing)
Hourly Rate: $62.00/hr (negotiable based on contract)

Position Overview:
The Pharmacist will provide critical pharmaceutical services during state-declared emergencies, working in settings such as Medical Special Needs Shelters (MSNS), Points of Dispensing Sites (PODS), urgent care centers, and Temporary Medical Operation Staging Areas (TMOSA).

- Shift Options: Day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or Night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Emergency Response: Must be available to deploy within 12-24 hours of activation
- Licensure: Active pharmacist license in any U.S. state
- Experience: 1+ years in pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred
- Technical Skills: Medication dispensing, pharmaceutical storage/handling, drug information services, vaccination support
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, adaptability
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals
- Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients
- Assist in vaccination efforts and medication administration
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in emergency settings
