Pharmaceutical Electrician

Global Life Science Hub is in collaboration with an innovative biopharmaceutical company leading advancements in cutting-edge drug delivery technologies. Following two recent FDA approvals, they are gearing up for substantial growth. By 2025, they will launch new internal manufacturing facilities that will triple their production capacity as they seek their 3rd approval.

To support their next phase of growth, we are searching for an experienced Electrician. The appointed candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the facility such as, HVAC Systems, Bioreactors and Boilers.

Responsibilities

• Performs other functions as required or assigned
• Complies with all company policies and standards
• Good knowledge of electrical switch gear, transformer, Main distribution panel, Sub distribution panel, Emergency panel, Power backup Generator, Drive, Motors, Variable frequency drive and single line diagram.
• Good knowledge of utility and facility equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, chiller, cooling tower, pumps & drives, RODI, WFI, and Hot water system.
• Experience performing electrical work on single diagram, experience in reviewing electrical drawing, trouble shooting of electrical problem.
• Capable of performing work in the process equipment and lab equipment/instruments.
• Detail oriented and be able to complete any required documentation
• Other duties as assigned
• Use basic hand tools.
• Must be able to read, write and utilize drawings, mathematics, formulas.
• Read Electrical drawing.
• Must be able to work in a clean room environment.
• Candidate must possess basic computer skills
• Must have ability to communicate both orally and written in a clear manner.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Technical Certificate in Electricity, Electronics, Instrumentation or related experience
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Electricity, Electronics, Instrumentation; preferable
• 3-5+ years in plant or equipment maintenance, with experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
• Holder of a New Jersey electrical state license would be preferable
• Good knowledge on cGMP regulations
