Personal & Succession Planning Associate

Thompson Hine LLP seeks a mid-level associate for its growing Personal & Succession Planning practice in the firm?s Chicago office, or Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus or Dayton, Ohio. The Personal & Succession Planning practice serves national and international clients and works collaboratively with other practice groups throughout the firm. The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of experience in one or more of the following areas: estate planning for high net worth and ultra-high net worth families, private trust companies and family offices, business succession planning, and charitable giving strategies and private foundations. Candidates must possess outstanding academic credentials and work experience, a strong work ethic, excellent drafting and communication skills, be highly organized, and possess the desire to grow as a leader in this space. An LL.M. in Taxation is a plus.
