PCS Field Supervisor

The Field Supervisor supervises the delivery of personal care services ensuring clients receive service according to authorized task and hours. Must be a licensed nurse (RN) in good standing;?OR?have?completed at least two years (60 credit hours) of college-level education. One (1) year's management or supervisory experience for a healthcare provider may be substituted?for each required year of college Choice of one or all:

• Communicates with employees, case managers and clients in a professional and effective manner
• Specialize Educational Training designed to prepare attendants to client specific needs based on diagnosis
• Attends Team Meetings and/or training as required
• Available to provide services to clients if back-up PCA is not available
• Scheduling according to service plans, authorized hours and required days per week
• Complete initial evaluation of assistance needed by client to achieve activities of daily living
• Ensures attendants understanding of EVV by demonstration
• Works with HR supporting attendants to improve
• Other responsibilities, related activities, assignments, duties, and projects as assigned </li></ul> Requirements:
  • High school diploma or General Equivalence Degree (G.E.D.) required, associate or bachelor?s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Personal Care Services (Medicaid) and state requirements
  • Must have and maintain valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift 50+ pounds, and move intermittently
  • Texas Requirements: Must be a licensed nurse (RN) in good standing;?OR?have completed at least two years (60 credit hours) of college-level education. One (1) year's management or supervisory experience for a healthcare provider may be substituted for each required year of college.
