As a Patent Counsel at ASM?s Phoenix office, you'll safeguard and grow our critical intellectual property assets, enabling our cutting-edge technology to thrive in the marketplace. You will collaborate with inventors, R&D teams, and global colleagues to manage a diverse patent portfolio, driving innovation and delivering value in a high-tech, multicultural environment.

What You Will Be Working On

Drafting and prosecuting patents within ASM?s diverse technology portfolio.
Building strong relationships with inventors and staying informed about R&D advancements.
Managing outside counsel and implementing global IP prosecution strategies.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's or Master?s degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, mechanical engineering, or related disciplines.
Qualified as a patent attorney or patent agent in a major jurisdiction (e.g., US, EP, KR, or JP).
Proven experience in patent drafting, IP portfolio management, and supervising external counsel.
Knowledge of IP-related contracts and other IP types such as trademarks or trade secrets.
