Patent Associate (Biochemistry Or Chemistry)

Dinsmore is seeking a patent associate in Ann Arbor, MI; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Detroit, MI; Groton, CT; Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Pittsburgh, PA; or Washington, D.C. This position requires a minimum of three years of patent preparation and prosecution experience and at least a B.S. in Biochemistry or Chemistry. Admission to a state bar and USPTO registration is required. A Ph.D. and/or industry experience is preferred. Experience with pharmaceutical or biotechnology subject matters is a plus. Successful candidates have strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a desire to work in a collegial atmosphere with an emphasis on training, significant client contact, and a wide range of work, including patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, strategic analysis, and opinion work.
