Parts Technician

Piping Technology Parts Technician isresponsible for managing the inventory of spare parts within a company, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking parts, ensuring proper stock levels by placing orders when necessary, and providing customer service by assisting with part identification and selection, typically in industries like automotive, manufacturing, or aviation.

Inventory management:

Receiving and verifying incoming parts shipments against purchase orders.

Accurately storing parts in designated locations within the warehouse or parts room.

Maintaining detailed inventory records using computer systems to track stock levels.

Conducting periodic inventory checks to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

Placing orders for new parts to maintain appropriate stock levels.

Order processing:

Processing parts requests from internal departments or service technicians.

Locating parts within the inventory and pulling them for orders.

Packaging and preparing parts for shipmen
