Paralegal - (Admiralty & Maritime)

Hamilton Miller & Birthisel LLP - Paralegal (Admiralty & Maritime) Hamilton Miller & Birthisel LLP, a premier Florida insurance defense trial law firm, seeks experienced Paralegals to join our statewide litigation defense practice in the areas of Admiralty & Maritime, Commercial Litigation, Insurance & Medical Malpractice. Responsibilities: Locate and contact factual witnesses. Draft witness and exhibit lists. Organize and maintain accurate case documentation. Identify and coordinate with experts; assist in preparing hearing and trial notebooks; provide trial support. Conduct initial case investigations, gather facts, draft pleadings, and prepare discovery documents (interrogatories, requests for production). Qualifications: 3-5 years of Paralegal experience working in a Law Firm or similar legal environment preferred. Experience working in the areas of Admiralty & Maritime, Insurance and/or Medical Malpractice ideal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and a strong team player. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with state and federal court rules.
