Job Description
We are growing the Engineering team and are actively hiring for the following positions:
- OSP Engineers - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, and implementing fiber optic networks. This role necessitates a deep understanding of telecommunications engineering principles and a comprehensive knowledge of industry standards. The successful candidate will be proficient in various OSP design architectures, particularly FTTH and FTTP . Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, GIS , or similar tools. A solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NESC, NEC ) is essential.
- OSP Permit Specialist - The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in permitting, preferably within the telecommunications sector. Experience with Charter/Spectrum is considered a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with various permitting processes, including Railroad permitting, Pole permitting, City and County regulations , etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, environmental science, urban planning);
- A minimum of 2 years in either OSP Engineering or OSP Permitting is a must.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NESC, NEC);
- Understanding and application of standard engineering or scientific theories, concepts, principles, and techniques;
- Ability to develop and resolve solutions to routine technical problems;
- Ability to work on assigned projects and technical assignments without detailed instructions.
