Oracle PLSQL Lead

We are looking for a technical lead with 8+ years of experience who should:

Coordinate with the team to understand business requirements and deliverables for business users.

Design, develop, and support PL/SQL, ETL processes for loading data from external and internal systems using SQL Loader and external tables.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience guiding a team of developers.

Design, develop, and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, triggers, and sequences.

Create and manage database objects including tables, indexes, views, and sequences.

Work with bulk collections for bulk load processing.

Conduct code walkthroughs and review sessions with the development team.

Perform performance tuning of Oracle databases by optimizing SQL queries.

Partition large tables and create indexes to improve query performance.

Utilize SQL commands including DDL, DML, and DCL.

Interact with Business Analysts and Users to gather and analyze business report requirements.

Gather requirements for interfaces and custom program development through meetings with functional teams and business users.

Analyze existing systems to improve and optimize performance.

Handle projects involving process building for the BEx Team.

Required Skills:

Experience with calling APIs through PLSQL procedures, debugging API code, and testing APIs using Postman.

Exposure to Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting, and XML.

Proficiency with WinSCP and Putty.

Knowledge or experience with scheduling tools like Control-M.

Understanding of Ansible scripts (YAML creation) and monitoring jobs.

Flexibility with working hours (able to work in shifts if needed).

Hands-on experience in coding and guiding a team of developers.

Development of advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, functions, cursors, and collections using SQL Developer.

Generate SQL scripts for data validation, data conversion, and manipulation, and materialize views for remote instances.

Write conversion scripts using SQL, PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages to migrate data from SQL Server to Oracle.
