Position Summary

The Operations Strategy and Project Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic initiatives within the bank's operations department to align with the organizations long-term strategic plan. This position provides regular and recurring operational functions while contributing to process optimization, innovation, and overall efficiency of banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of operation systems and implementation in partnership with the IT Department.
  • Work alongside leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and ways to enhance efficiency in bank operations.
  • Maintain proficiency of bank's report writing system.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to project performance and operational metrics.
  • Aid in the development and system implementation of new bank products and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve problems within authority.
  • Maintain general knowledge of all bank operations procedures.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, operations management, or another related field OR three to five years of related banking or accounting experience.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency level of computer competency, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges.
