Description

The Operations Research Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements as part of the system development lifecycle and changes being contemplated to a portfolio of systems. The Operations Research Analyst will provide research frameworks, conduct statistical analysis, simulate and build analytical models that provide a predictive outcome of design decisions.

Requirements

Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a business-related field, and over 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator. Ideally the candidate will have experience supporting the Department of Navy logistics and supply chain business systems or similar custom legacy portfolios. Active secret security clearance is required.

Proven experience working using analysis and modeling to solve problems

Operational knowledge of supply chain, logistics and acquisition management systems

Ability to document frameworks, defend methodologies

Contribute to project management artifacts and technical documentation requirements

Knowledge of information management systems and emerging technologies

Experience presenting courses of actions and recommendations to stakeholders and key leaders

Ability to conduct an analysis of alternatives

Strong excel or experience with other modeling tools

Team player with the ability to work across functional and technical stakeholders

Must have or be able to achieve Cyber Security Workforce Certification, IAM-II
