Position OverviewEligo Energy is seeking a highly motivated Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to three years of professional experienceindustry-specific experience is not required. We're looking for someone who is eager to roll up their sleeves, learn quickly, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our operational efficiency. You'll manage and optimize manual processes, resolve failed or rejected transactions, and provide essential support for tasks typically handled by a billing manager in the energy sector. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and growing within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, investigate, and resolve operational exceptions such as failed or rejected transactions across utility partners and internal systems.
- Own and refine manual operational workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and reliability.
- Assist with billing operations, including invoice generation, reconciliation, and error resolution.
- Collaborate across departments (including Technology, Customer Service, and Finance) to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Document procedures and contribute to process standardization and scalability initiatives.
- Support reporting and data validation activities for both internal and external stakeholders.
- A recent college graduate or early-career professional (0-3 years of experience in any industry)
- A critical thinker who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and not afraid to ask questions.
- Eager to learn new systems, understand complex processes, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to grow within a company.
- Excel in time management and can juggle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., sorting, filtering, pivot tables)
- Analytical mindset with a desire to dig into data and systems to find root causes.
- Previous internship or work experience in operations, billing, data entry, or customer service ( a plus, but not required).
