Job Description
WorkFit Medical Staffing is looking for a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. This position is critical in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain the operating room and surgical instruments.
- Assist with the positioning of patients and provide necessary supplies for surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to deliver optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels during procedures.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative education to patients and families as needed.

Certs: ACLS PALS BLS- Preferred CNOR
Licenses: NYS RN

Requirements
Qualifications:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; CNOR certification is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
