Occupational Therapist - PRN

Yoakum Community Hospital is in search of a dedicated and professional Occupational Therapist for a PRN position. As a not-for-profit hospital managed by Community Hospital Corporation, we have been a pillar of healthcare in our community since 1922. Our mission focuses on delivering comprehensive healthcare services with compassion, dignity, and respect, utilizing advanced medical technology and a team of highly skilled professionals.

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances. You will provide therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their ability to perform daily living activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in educating patients, families, and caregivers on how to support their recovery.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic patient care. Continued professional development is encouraged, and you will have opportunities to enhance your skills through onsite and offsite training.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Texas state license or the ability to obtain licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
