Job Description
Nurse Practitioner Psychiatry - Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to inpatient psychiatric patients
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medication
- Provide psychotherapy
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team
- Educate patients and families about mental illness
- Advocate for patients' rights
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Board certification in psychiatry
- At least 2 years of experience in inpatient psychiatry
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
