Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Neonatology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of neonatal physiology and pathophysiology, as well as experience in providing care to critically ill newborns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU
- Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
- Educate parents and families about neonatal conditions and treatments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited university
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Strong clinical skills and experience in managing complex neonatal conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
