Position Overview:

The Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced medical care during state-declared emergencies, delivering critical services in dynamic settings such as Medical Special Needs Shelters (MSNS), Points of Dispensing Sites (PODS), urgent care centers, and Temporary Medical Operation Staging Areas (TMOSA).

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered NP license in any U.S. state.
• Experience: 1+ years in Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, or related fields .
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute/chronic conditions, medication/vaccine administration, and behavioral health support.
• Soft Skills: Adaptability, strong clinical judgment, and ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnose medical conditions.
• Prescribe and administer medications and vaccinations.
• Provide emergency treatments and stabilize patients in crisis situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and emergency response teams to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to emergency protocols.
