Nurse Paralegal
Location: Minneapolis
Join Barnes & Thornburg LLP as a full-time Nurse Paralegal in our renowned Product Liability and Mass Tort practice. In this role, you'll become an integral part of our nationwide, diverse team, playing a vital role in medical record and document review, summarization of records, and contributing to various litigation projects. We encourage candidates with a minimum of five years of experience as a nurse paralegal, along with a nursing degree, to apply, and value additional experience in product liability, mass torts, or settlements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a substantial amount of medical record and document review.
- Summarize records effectively to support legal processes.
- Collaborate on additional litigation projects, seizing occasional opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience as a nurse paralegal.
- Nursing degree.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Display initiative and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration within a large, diverse team.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery and Relativity software platforms (preferred).
- Prior project management skills (preferred).
- Previous work experience or an undergraduate degree in business administration, data management, or a science-based field (preferred).
