Sable Corporation is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures that require series of advanced imaging techniques to diagnose and manage patient conditions. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate sophisticated imaging equipment, and ensure accurate imaging results while maintaining patient safety at the forefront of your practice. You will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret scan results, all while providing compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process. Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform nuclear medicine scans per physician orders, utilizing advanced imaging technology.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, troubleshooting as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and distribute radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures, answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Document all relevant information accurately in patient records and comply with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
  • Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and their applications in diagnostic imaging.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
