Position contingent upon contract award

ARETUM, a reputable government contracting company, is seeking a qualified and experienced Network Lead to join our team. As the Network Lead at ARETUM, you will be responsible for overseeing the network infrastructure and operations for the Cyber Security Business Operations Support (CS BOS) project.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the network team, providing guidance and support in network planning, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to design and implement network solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in network technologies and security.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for network upgrades and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security policies and standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for network services and equipment.
  • Participate in network audits and assessments.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Prior experience in a government contracting environment is preferred.
