We are seeking a Network Engineer who is passionate about managing, maintaining & troubleshooting Fortinet switches, and monitoring the on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2 4 years of Network Engineer experience
Requirements
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls including policy creation, NAT, UTM features, and performance optimization.
- Monitor firewall traffic and logs to detect potential threats, vulnerabilities, or anomalies using FortiAnalyzer.
- Perform firmware upgrades, daily health checks, and backup configurations for FortiGate firewalls.
- Manage and maintain Fortinet switches, including VLAN configuration, link aggregation, and access control settings.
- Deploy, configure, and monitor Fortinet wireless access points to ensure seamless and secure Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Install and support FortiClient endpoint protection software across user systems, ensuring up-to-date security compliance.
- Use FortiManager for centralized management of FortiGate devices, policy packages, and configuration backups.
- Generate custom security reports, event logs, and trend analyses using FortiAnalyzer for compliance and audits.
- Design and implement VLANs for network segmentation, broadcast control, and secure communication.
- Configure and maintain LAN and WAN infrastructures, ensuring high performance and low latency.
- Set up and manage Site-to-Site VPN tunnels between branches, data centers, or cloud environments.
- Deploy and support SSL VPN for remote users, including access policy definition and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement firewall rule reviews and cleanup.
- Ensure proper functioning of routing protocols (static/dynamic), failover links, and redundancy configurations.
- Maintain high availability of all critical network services through proactive monitoring and incident management.
