Motion Graphics Designer

Docyt is seeking a passionate and talented Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team. This role will focus on developing visually compelling animations that convey complex information in an engaging and understandable way. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic ability combined with technical skills in animation and design software. You will work closely with various teams, ensuring that your designs and animations align with our brand ethos and meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

Expertise in UI animation and Figma workflows to create visually engaging motion content for digital platforms, video productions, and interactive experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and the ability to bring interfaces to life through dynamic animations.

Key Responsibilities

Motion Design & Animation: Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and product experiences.

UI Animation: Animate user interfaces, micro interactions, and transitions for websites, mobile apps, and digital products, ensuring smooth and engaging user experiences.

Figma Integration: Work within Figma to design, prototype, and animate UI components, collaborating closely with UI/UX designers.

Video Editing & Post-Production: Enhance video content by incorporating motion graphics, typography, transitions, and effects.

Creative Conceptualization: Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to create animations that align with brand identity and enhance user engagement.

Storytelling & Visualization: Develop compelling motion narratives that improve communication and interaction.

Software Expertise: Utilize industry-standard tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma to produce professional-grade animations.

Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.

Industry Research & Innovation: Stay updated on design trends, motion graphics techniques, and emerging UI animation tools.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Experience: 2-9 years of proven experience in motion design, UI animation, and video editing.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Proficiency in Figma for designing and animating UI elements
Knowledge of Lottie animations, JSON exports, and SVG animations is a plus
Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D animation tools is a bonus
Creative Expertise: Strong storytelling skills, attention to detail, and a keen eye for UI
aesthetics and motion principles.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to create intuitive, user-friendly animations that enhance
product usability.
Collaboration & Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to
work closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with prototyping UI animations in Figma or tools like Principle, ProtoPie, or Framer.
Knowledge of scripting and automation in After Effects (expressions, plugins).
Understanding of UX principles and motion's impact on usability.
