Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Beltway Companies is the largest commercial truck dealership in the state of Maryland. Our Idealease division provides an alternative to commercial truck ownership with comprehensive full-service leases, rental trucks, dedicated maintenance, and mobile service options. Locations in Baltimore and Frederick serve all of Maryland and Washington, DC. with state-of-the-art facilities and diagnostic equipment.

Mobile technicians are vital members of our team and are charged with preventative maintenance and minor repairs of our customers' vehicles at their location. We have an immediate opening for a mobile technician to work in the Baltimore area.

• Scheduled PM's
• Minor repairs found at the time of PM
• DVIR write-ups (vehicle inspections)
• Emergency breakdown service

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have their own hand tools and relevant training and/or experience, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks. Must be self-motivated, team player ready to hit the ground running.

GENERAL WORK QUALITIES REQUIRED

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1 to 4 years related experience
• Mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles

• The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $20 to $45 per hour
