As part of the Finance Systems & Transformation Office, FTO's Mission is to drive Business Value for Finance and Enterprise Stakeholders through continuous, disciplined and collaborative transformation towards world-class finance systems, tools, processes and business insights.

You will be part of the Digital Transformation Office which is responsible for RPA & AI initiatives across Finance. Your role will focus exclusively on AI for Finance and our AI business Value Drivers are:

Accelerate growth and improve customer retention and cross/up sell

Enhance speed-to-value in the areas of Demand/Revenue Forecasting and overall business insights

Increase productivity and efficiency by reshaping the size, structure, and composition of enterprise functions

Increase revenue by leveraging AI for identifying revenue opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and enhancing financial decision-making processes, driving more effective sales and revenue growth initiatives.

Enhance risk management & compliance by proactively addressing governance regulatory requirements with continuous monitoring

Your Impact:

As an AI/ML Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and transforming Finance operations through the power of machine learning. Your work will directly impact key business outcomes, such as improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing decision-making, and identifying new revenue opportunities. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the success of the Finance organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Problem Analysis:

Work with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and identify areas where AI/ML can be applied to improve processes, optimize decisions, and drive business value.

Data Analysis & Exploration:

Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to business problems. Contribute to data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering efforts.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

AI/ML Solution Evaluation:

Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of different AI/ML approaches for addressing specific business needs. Assist in the selection of appropriate models and algorithms.

Understand and support model performance through techniques such as hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, and model selection.

Requirements Gathering, Documentation & Testing:

Gather and document business requirements for AI/ML projects, translating them into clear specifications for Data Scientists and ML Engineers.

Contribute to the testing and validation of AI/ML models, ensuring they meet business requirements and perform as expected. Analyze model outputs and identify potential issues.

Model Deployment & Monitoring:

Support the deployment of machine learning models into production systems and monitor their performance to ensure they meet business needs.

Collaboration:

Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate effectively with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and business stakeholders

Research & Learning:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML and their potential applications within the Finance domain.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in machine learning, data analysis, or a related field. Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and model building.

Technical Skills:

Strong programming skills in Python (essential) and familiarity with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, etc).

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning, decision trees, neural networks, clustering, etc.).

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Pandas).

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Statistical Knowledge: Solid foundation in statistics and probability, with the ability to apply statistical methods to analyze and interpret data is a plus

Business Understanding: Ability to collaborate with business teams and translate technical findings into actionable business insights and solutions.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring data quality, model accuracy, and thoroughness in analysis.

Impact & Outcomes:

AI/ML Solution Development: Assist in developing machine learning solutions that contribute directly to enhancing business processes, customer experiences, and operational efficiency.

Operational Improvements: Support efforts to optimize internal workflows by leveraging AI and machine learning for automation, data-driven decision-making, and process enhancements.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Enable key stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions by providing actionable insights through advanced analysis and machine learning models.

Innovation: Help drive innovation by contributing to the continuous improvement of AI/ML models and introducing new techniques to enhance the business?s competitive edge.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for model deployment and management is a plus.

Experience in model deployment and management using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or MLflow.

Experience working in an Agile environment.

Domain knowledge of the financial industry.

Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
