Metal Fabricator

We're currently in search of a dedicated Metal Fabricator for our workshop in Crestview, Florida. This role offers ample opportunities for advancement within our organization. A Metal Fabricator is responsible for creating, assembling, and installing metal components used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a combination of technical skills in metalworking and a thorough understanding of HVAC systems.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fabricate and assemble metal components, including ductwork, vents, and other HVAC system parts, according to blueprints and specifications.

• Use various tools and machinery, such as shears, presses, brakes, rolls, and welding equipment, to cut, bend, and shape metal pieces.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Completion of a vocational training program in metal fabrication or HVAC technology is preferred.

• Proven experience as a metal fabricator, preferably in the HVAC industry.

• Experience using a Vicon plasma cutter is preferred, but not required.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

• Strong skills in metalworking techniques, including cutting, welding, and shaping.

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.

• Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including workshops and construction sites.

• May involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and varying temperatures.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

• Willing to train those who possess relevant experience.

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly wage: $20.00 to $28.00, based on experience and qualifications.
