As a Metal Fabricator with Aardvark Studios?

You will work closely with our Project Management, Design, and Tech teams to help make ideas a reality for our clients. You'll work on a variety of projects spanning mobile experiences, custom-fabricated assets, and museum-quality props and furnishings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

What makes you the ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of experience as a metal fabricator in a company (not freelance).
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding of all metals; certification a plus.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, tube weldments, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime on Fridays and weekends as needed.:

What else is helpful:

• Fabricate components using sheet metal, tube weldments, and machining techniques.
• Interpret and work from shop drawings to create custom metal components.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and organization in the workspace.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, accurately tracking time and resources for each.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks, requiring minimal supervision.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards, working with a sense of urgency when needed.
• Maintain reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Experience with CNC machinery and programming.
• Knowledge of various metal types and their properties.
• Familiarity with modern fabrication tools and equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems related to fabrication.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials safely.
