Mental Health Technician (BHT)

As a Mental Health Technician (BHT) at HealingUS Centers, you will be an essential part of our team, dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their lives from mental health and substance use disorders. Your role will focus on providing support and assistance to clients participating in our Behavioral Health programs. With a strong emphasis on compassion and care, you will help create a nurturing environment conducive to healing.

Responsibilities include:

Monitoring and documenting client behavior and responses to treatment.

Assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Facilitating group therapy sessions and individual interactions to promote engagement.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals to implement individualized treatment plans.

Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all clients.

Upholding patient confidentiality and adhering to all regulations and standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in mental health or substance abuse preferred.

Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse setting is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A compassionate demeanor and a strong commitment to client welfare.

Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
