Our global team of experts ? many with PhD and PharmD degrees ? work strategically alongside our client partners in Medical Affairs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Market Access, and Commercial teams across a wide range of therapy areas.

As part of the OPEN Health Medical Writing Team, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing research and writing support to assigned brand teams and new business efforts
• Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes a medical director, editor, graphic designers, and account personnel
• Producing abstracts, posters, outlines, primary and review articles, monographs, slide presentations, meeting summaries, and other materials
• Developing scientifically accurate, fully referenced written materials, appropriate to the target audience
• Ensuring that written materials meet authors? communication objectives, client specifications, and industry guidelines
• In collaboration with the medical director, interacting with experts to solicit their input, facilitate alignment, resolve queries, and make content suggestions
• Researching medical topics using relevant information sources; annotating those sources while writing
• Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge in relevant therapy areas
• Incorporating feedback and revisions and addressing reviewer questions/comments
• Understanding expectations in terms of budgeted hours and deadlines, and communicating with team regarding these as needed

What you'll bring:

• A strong scientific understanding (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred) and excellent writing skills
• Medical writing experience for a pharmaceutical, medical communications, and/or medical education company or equivalent
• Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality written materials
• Ability to work both independently and in a team structure
• Ability to perform all duties remotely and online, as OPEN Health is a paperless company
• Level of comfort interacting with clients and key experts
• Flexible approach and ability to manage competing or shifting priorities
• Enthusiasm, team-player attitude, self-motivation, and professional demeanor
• Proficiency with PubMed searches and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including figure and table development. EndNote experience is a plus!
