We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate back office Medical Assistant to join a Orthopedic Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient examinations, documenting patient information accurately, performing basic laboratory tests, and ensuring a clean and organized environment in the examination rooms. The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
• Updating and maintaining patient electronic health records (EHR)
• Assisting healthcare providers with various procedures and examinations
• Performing basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws
• Providing clear instructions to patients regarding procedures and treatments
• Keeping examination rooms clean and organized
• Ordering and stocking medical supplies
• Supporting front desk operations as needed
• Blood Draw

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• Medical Assistant certification
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
• Bilingual (preferred)
• Blood draw experience
